• Welcome to my NEWS page! Here you find what I am up to, events in my life and everything that is
**happening with my acting career. I will try to update it as often as possible. Enjoy!

July 4, 2008
Happy 4th of July Everyone! I hope you all had fun celebrating with some fireworks, BBQ's and a little red, white and blue!

Due to the current SAG and AFTRA negotiations and possible actor's strike, I am going to be updating my FilmIndsutryBloggers.com blog as The Actor more frequently to try to keep everyone in the loop as best as possible.

Also, the interview that I did with TheMovieWhore.com is also posted over at Rusty Lime for those of you interested. I really appreciate all the kind comments and support thus far, it means a lot and I simply want to say "Thank You" with a special shout out to my new friend, The Movie Whore himself, Jim!

I have a bit of fun news...I am hosting a new design show that starts shooting on July 7th and I am so excited to have been given this opportunity and start my transition into the hosting/personality entertainment type jobs aside from acting. The show is right up my alley and I am looking forward to meeting the designer and entire crew this weekend!

More details to come and of course pictures, so stay tuned, and till then just know that I am thanking each of you for your continued support and sending smiles your way!

June 30, 2008
Happy Birthday to my oh so adorable nephew, Kyle, who is turning the BIG Lucky 7 today! :) I am sending him lots and lots of hugs and kisses via the oh so fabulous magic of the Internet!

I can not believe that tomorrow is July 1st! The year is half over and I thought we just rang in '08! What does this mean exactly? I have to speed things up a bit just to catch up since I have a feeling the summer will be over and the Holidays will be here before I even turn around! :) That said, I hope you are all having a Super Summer so far and that those of you in the LA area survived the over 100 degree temperatures we had! Whew! :)

In other news, I was recently interviewed by TheMovieWhore.com who has teamed up with FIB (FilmIndustryBloggers.com) and the interview, "Liesl Ehardt, The Actress you didn't know you loved", is now posted if you want to check it out!

Aside from that and as many of you may know, we are in the midst of a possible SAG (Screen Actors Guild) strike while still trying to recover from the WGA (Writers Guild of America) strike that was in full swing earlier this year. Needless to say, things have been slower than usual not only for myself, but almost all of my actor friends, but we are sticking together, staying positive and pushing forward! We are all hopeful that SAG will reach an amicable decision while also realizing that all SAG is doing for us as actors is important to the future of TV and Film and burst of Internet popularity due to the amazing ability of technology today!

While all of this plays out, I want to thank all of you for the numerous wishes of support, some of which I receive during times when they are needed the most and I truly appreciate each and every message and comment! You can continue to read about my journey and get updates over at FIB (FilmIndustryBloggers.com) where I post a NEW blog as The Actor each and every Wednesday!

Also, the Feature Film I am in has officially changed it's title to "The Last Stan" and I will be sure to update you with release dates, etc. as soon as I get them! Till then, I hope you all have a very Happy 4th of July weekend! :)

June 3, 2008
'Tis Wednesday, yet again, and that means my NEW blog as The Actor is now posted at FilmIndustryBloggers.com if you want to check it out!

Can you spy what else is NEW?!?

If you guessed, the look of L I E S L E H A R D T . C O M, then you guessed right! Woo Hoo!!! :) Hopefully, you all will like the brighter, more summer ready look to the site, but as always send me any suggestions you may have and together we will continue to see how the site evolves! More changes, pictures, news, etc. will be coming soon as well! So stay tuned! :)

Things have been going well for me, opportunities have been showing themselves, interviews about my most recent projects as an actor, blogging, etc. have been happening, and I have a fun charity and red carpet event in Beverly Hills next week for the 35th Annual Vision Awards! I am most excited about trying on formal designer evening gowns at my fitting later this week!

All in all, I am looking forward to all that is ahead while continuing to live more in the present, allowing the future to unfold as it will, per the new perspective I gained in good old NYC! Also, I want to send a special "Thank You" to Ted Beaudry for his very thoughtful, kind, and supportive e-mail, it meant so much!

I will check back very soon with more details and until then, I am wishing each of you a Wonderful Wednesday and oh so Happy June! :)

May 25, 2008
Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone! I just got back to LA after spending some much needed and enjoyed time in my beloved New York City, where I gained a wonderful, new perspective!

While back east I auditioned for the role of Elizabeth in a 1/2 hour comedy pilot filming in Wilmington, NC where I got my start as an actor 10 years ago...if you can believe that! :) It would be so much fun to got back to where it all began, but either way, I had fun auditioning and am looking forward to all that is ahead for me.

As many of you know, I blog weekly for FIB: Film Industry Bloggers and the site recently got a bit of a facelift to make it more Hollywood ready, so to speak, and is looking much sleeker thanks to its wonderful creators Richard and Amy and the fabulous FIB team!

You can now check out my NEW blogs, posted each Wednesday, as The Actor by going to FilmInudstryBloggers.com or link directly by going to FilmIndustryBloggers.com/theactor. For more information just click on my Blog link on the navigation bar of this site.

Oh yes, and I also added scans from "Scary Monsters Magazine" Issue 64 and the comic where I am featured as Nurse Ghoulfriend in the "Articles" section of this site found under "Info" on the navigation bar or by going to the link in this post.

Till next time, I plan to take the new perspective I gained while in NYC, my mostly positive attitude, and smile with me on a daily basis as I press on, and all of your cute e-mails and comments are helping me to do just that! So, as always, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!! :)

May 5, 2008
Happy Cinco De Mayo!!! So sorry for the delayed update, things have been a bit busy and all over the place, but I am here to catch you up to date...I hope! :)

I am currently in my beloved NYC visiting some of my closest friends, catching some Broadway shows, attending my sister's Grad School Graduation and auditioning for a half-hour comedic, speculative television pilot entitled “One of the Girls." They are looking to re-cast one of the lead roles Elizabeth, a “very funny, yet extremely poignant at times” character on the show, and have asked me to read for the role.

During my flight from Burbank to JFK I read over the sides and show material and really think it is a fun role that gives me a chance to be a bit bolder, direct and stereotypically blonde than I am in real life, which is what acting is all about. So, I plan to bring her to life as best I can and simply have fun above all...then will see what happens, if anything! :)

I continue to blog for FIB: Film Industry Bloggers each week as The Actor, which I am simply loving because it allows me to write, which I love, and documents my career as I take my baby steps towards hopefully becoming a successful actor. You can continue to check them out at FilmIndustryBloggers.com if you want and a new one will be posted every Wednesday!

All in all, I am enjoying my time back east, but I always do, and I am looking forward to all that is ahead while enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather! I am off to take another bite out of the Big Apple and till next time, I hope you all have a Wonderful Week and thank you, once again, for the continued support and kind e-mails and comments! :)

March 12, 2008
Can you believe it is March already?!? I sure can't, but this does mean that spring is around the corner and that makes me oh so happy! :) I have been a busy bee working 12 hour days, auditioning and just simply trying to keep up with life, but all is well and I continue to look forward to all that lies ahead of me!

Last week I was asked to be a reader for the Broadway Musical WICKED auditions with Telsey Casting. They were out in LA from NYC doing some casting of actors, singers and dancers for the show and it is alway a fun experience to be a part of it all! They are long, full days, but I love them and getting the opportunity meet new people, perform with an array of actors and simply learn from the experience itself.

You can continue to read my blogs as The Actor over at FilmIndustryBloggers.com or just click on my BLOG link, here on this site via the navigation bar, if you want to follow my journey weekly. I am in my 5th week of posting and a new one is posted every Wednesday if you want to check back! Your comments and kind e-mails about it have been so encouraging and I always look forward to hearing from everyone!

Next week my oh so fabulous sister comes out to sunny LA to visit little me for her spring break from grad school at Purdue! I am looking forward to our silly adventures, yummy meals out and exciting shopping excursions while getting a little break myself from my busy work weeks and possibly hitting some auditions in between! :)

So, till my next set of updates, which should be soon, I hope you all have a Happy St. Patrick's Day and Easter ahead and continue to have a successful March! Thank you again for the continued support and I will be back with new pictures very soon and hopefully a new layout and added features! :)

February 8, 2008
Hey Everyone! Seeing that I am a fan of James Dean and today is February 8th, I must wish him a very Happy, what would have been 77th, Birthday! :)

Now, onto what has been happening since the New Year kicked off...

First off, Congratulations to the New York Giants on their big win at the Super Bowl and I forgive you for giving me a heart attack during the last seconds of the game! ;)

That said, I have been back in NYC since the holidays due to the WGA Strike that has hit Hollywood and all parts of the industry pretty hard for about 3 months now. However, things are looking up on that front and we all hope they come to an agreement that works best for everyone very soon! :)

While in NYC I hit some auditions, a few Broadway shows, met up with many good friends, many of whom I knew when I lived in Manhattan, and my amazing family which has been wonderful, but will be heading back to LA very soon and ready to hopefully hit more auditions if a WGA agreement is reached!

I have been asked to be an exclusive writer/blogger for the new Film Industry Website that brings all of Hollywood including celebrities, actors, producers, directors, agents, casting directors, make-up artists and more together in one unique spot on this vast land, better know as the Internet.

I am a part of FIB, Film Industry Bloggers, who's ironic slogan is "I can not tell a lie..." and it is the first community blogging site of its kind that offers an "Insider's look at the Film Industry through the unique eyes of Industry Professionals." I am so lucky to be a part of such a creative and innovative outlet that will most likely gain popularity, sparking more sites of its kind, in the near future.

The site will follow my journey as an actor, via weekly blogs, as I continue to take steps, no matter how tiny, towards being a successful actor and personality in the industry. All in hopes of ultimately having the means and platform to open and be an active part of my own children's charity foundation, give back and continue to help others all while staying positive, true to my morals and remaining the person I am today.

Feel free to spread the word, follow my journey as an actor, as well as others in the industry, and check back each and every week by going to www.FilmIndustryBloggers.com, clicking "Bloggers" on the blue navigation bar and then you will find my blog under "The Actor" from the list to the left, if you are interested and hopefully we can go on this ride together! :)

The FIB site fully launches on Monday, February 11th and from then on, I shall be busy writing, a new-found love of mine, on the side as I continue down my acting road! Also, you can bookmark the direct link, in hopes that it doesn't change, to make it easier for you in the future! Oh and if you want to leave me any fun comments on the site you will have to sign up, but it is free and only takes a few seconds, and I would happily welcome your thoughts, good or bad! :)

Thank you so much, as always, for your unwavering support and I look forward to keeping you all informed each step of the way and reading your many thoughtful e-mails, but till then be sure to have a Happy Valentine's Day! :)

December 30, 2007
I hope you all had a very Happy Holiday and were able to spend it with your family, friends or those close to you! I had a wonderful time being back east in D.C. at my sister, brother-in-law and nephew's new home for Christmas with my whole family and will be in NYC for the New Year!

Things on the acting front slow down due to the Holidays and the WGA writer's strike has caused it to be slower than usual, but we are all hoping for the best and I am sure they will work it out in time and we will hopefully get a pilot season for 2008 under way, but either way all we, as actors, can do is think positively and be supportive! :)

I got new headshots with a variety of looks taken with the oh so fabulous and fun Shandon at Shandon Photography in downtown LA before flying back to NYC for the Holiday and I will be sure to get those posted soon for you! My agent, manager and I plan to have them ready for when the acting auditions, hopefully, start back up, but till then we shall wait and be prepared!

Thank you for the continued support and e-mails, which I am catching up on! Also, I will be back with more updates soon, but till then I hope you all have a very safe and Happy New Year 2008...I can't believe a new year is upon us already! Let's go out there and make it the best we can! :)

November 24, 2007
I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving and are enjoying the Holiday weekend so far! I am back east for Thanksgiving this year since my 10 year High School reunion is at the same time, but I can't believe it has been 10 years already since I graduated...yikes! ;)

That said, I am looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up and any chance to be back east and in NYC is good enough for me...I love it here, especially during the Holidays! :) Plus, since we are in the midst of the WGA, Writer's Guild of America, strike combined with the Holidays, things have been super slow on the acting front.

Aside from that, I am in the process of uploading and adding new pictures, some of which are already posted in the "Candids" under the "Liesl Gallery" and to the "Friends Gallery" in the "Picture Galleries" section, so check back for even more soon as well as pics of little me in comic book form from "Scary Monster's Magazine" and some extras from the oh so fabulous artist, Dave Piper! :)

Then, while we wait patiently to see what will happen with the writer's strike, I am back east and will be seeing "Pygmalion" starring Claire Danes, an actor I have looked up to since she played Angela on "My So-Called Life" and while I was taking acting classes at HB Studio on my weekends during high school, where she went as well, in NYC!

I will be sure to check back with updates, but till then I hope you all enjoy the Holiday season, which is in full swing, and I will be getting back to your e-mails and messages very soon!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support...you are all Fabulous, as I like to say! :)

October 21, 2007
Well October has turned out to be a whirlwind event and now it is almost over! :) Lots of things are in the works and I am keeping busy on the work front and having family and friends visiting sunny LA!

In fact, you can see me featured in the current issued of "Scary Monsters Magazine," as Nurse Ghoulfriend, a fun comic book character and I will be sure to post some pictures soon!

Also, my good friend Joan Lauckner is the current co-host of "The Smart Show" brought to you by Holiday Inn Express and you can watch the daily episodes online here. She is not only talented, but oh so funny, so if you get the chance please check it out and support her...we will both truly appreciate it! :)

Next up is a stream of weddings with bridal showers and bachelorette parties happening prior and before I know it I will be flying back east for Thanksgiving and my 10 year high school reunion...oh my...where does the time go?!? :) I am keeping really busy, which is great and looking forward to the Holidays ahead, but till then hoping that things with the possible writers strike get worked out in CA.

Thank you for the continued support as always and while I see what the next couple months hold for me, I hope you all continue to enjoy Autumn and that you have a very Happy Halloween ahead...Boo!!! :)

September 25, 2007
I hope you all had a wonderful summer and that you have a fun start to Fall...I love this time of year and can't believe the holidays will be here again so soon, but must admit it isn't the same on the west coast as the east.

This week I will be attending the Cinema City International Film Festival at Universal City in CA and promoting my film "Kreating Karloff," which is screening at the AMC Theatre on September 26th.

Later in the week I will attend the Red Carpet event followed by the Black Tie Gala and Awards with special guests including Lesley Ann Warren whom I have loved since watching one of my favorite movies, Clue. "Kreating Karloff" is being show at the festival and I am looking forward to meeting some new people and just getting to be a part of a fun creative event.

I will be sure to post some pictures from my most recent events and parties including this festival and the Emmys and bring some new updates very soon. Thank you, as always, for your continued support and interest in my career as it slowly grows!

Now, I am off to break out some boots and sweaters in preparation for Fall...hehe...and I hope you all have a, you guessed it, Fabulous rest of the week! :)

August 9, 2007
It has been a long time since I updated the news...so sorry about that, things have been a bit crazy! :) I have been busy auditioning and "Kreating Karloff" has been making it's way around the film festival circuit and even winning some awards which has been exciting!

Next up, I have been asked to promote and do press for "Kreating Karloff" at the Cinema City International Film Festival taking place in September in Universal City, CA and look forward to meeting everyone and maybe seeing some of you there!

This summer I am back east auditioning, working and getting to visit some good friends and family and it is so wonderful to be back in NYC, the city I miss and love so much! :) I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far and that the rest is just as fun if not more!

I will be back with more updates and pictures soon and till then enjoy the rest of the week and have a wonderful weekend ahead! I will also catch up on my e-mail soon and get back to each of you...I love hearing from you! :)

June 1, 2007
Hey Everyone! I can't believe it is already June 1st...where does the time go?!? :) I hope you are all enjoying your spring and that you are looking forward to a fun summer!

I have been keeping busy on the audition front and meeting some really fun people along the way, which I always love. This past week was the wrap party for "Say Hello To Stan Talmadge" at Blue Velvet in LA, which I had never been to before, but it is a really modern, hip and trendy place and it was really nice to see everyone again and catch up!

I have added some pictures from the set under the Filming Gallery as well as to my Headshots section from my most recent shoot by the oh so talented David Muller from David Muller Photography, whom I highly reccomend.

I will continue to update the picture galleries in general by adding some new and taking some others down and be making a few site layout changes so continue to keep an eye out for them in the near future. Till then, I hope you all have a Wonderful Weekend and know that I appreciate all of your continued support! :)

May 13, 2007
Happy Mother's Day! :)

Things have been going so well lately and I am simply enjoying life and everything that is happening at this very moment! Plus, filming "Say Hello To Stan Talmadge," has been an absolute blast and true pleasure, which contributed to my realizing just how very lucky I am!

Special thank you to the entire crew, who has been amazing and perhaps one of the best thus far along with the cast including Gary Cole, Jennifer Coolidge, Jordan Bridges, Agnes Bruckner, Robert Hoffman, Rikki Lindhome, Teddy Dunn, Mike Erwin, the super fabulous and oh so fun director and producers as well as stand ins, catering, assistants, wardrobe, hair, make-up, photographer and everyone in between...it has been a blast from the past...1979 that is! ;)

This weekend I attended and volunteered at the 6th annual Project A.L.S. benefit at Paramount, which raises money for Lou Gerhig's disease and had a NYC block party theme this year, which I of course loved! It did make me miss NYC even more, but it was very nice of them to bring it to me here in sunny LA via a studio back-lot! ;) I had a fabulous time and was so lucky to be a part of it and get to help out a great cause!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and things are going well for you as well! Enjoy the week ahead and check back for pictures from the set very soon! Thank you again for your continued support and encouragement, it means so much!

April 23, 2007
Happy Monday Everyone!!! :)

Things are going really well for me in general, but especially on the acting front right now and I feel so very lucky! Well, aside from the fact that the Yankees must not have been feeling my good vibes from LA this weekend while playing against the Red Sox in Boston. That said, I have no fear because I know they will redeem themselves and make a proper come back! :)

I have been a busy little bee and this week is jam packed with table reads, fittings, meetings, screenings, possible auditions and more. I recently booked a role in the feature film, "Say Hello to Stan Talmadge," which is a comedy starring Jennifer Coolidge and Gary Cole among others. I am just simply excited to be a part of it all and working with such a talented cast and passionate director!

Currently, I am waiting for my shooting schedule to know if I will still be able to fly to CO to take on my biggest role yet as "mommy" to my adorable nephews while my sister and brother-in-law are in VA looking for a new home next week or if I will have to stay in LA to film.

Either way we will work it out and as an actor you never know when duty will call, so to speak, and each opportunity is one you must take full advantage of and since I am serious about acting I try to do just that. Lucky for me my family is just as supportive and so they are behind me 110% and my sister and brother-in-law have a back up plan in place! :)

I will be sure to keep you posted, so check back for updates soon and till then I hope you have a fun week and are keeping busy like I am! :) Thank you again for all the sweet messages and know that I appreciate every one of them, I truly do!

April 15, 2007
As you will see, there have been some changes to my official website to give it a more updated look and slightly different layout, which I hope you like! :)

I have taken some sections off after some suggestions from my agents and manager and what they think is best as my career moves forward. Overall, it simplifies the site and makes it a bit more clean and concise. Things will continue to change here and there over the next few days and I will do my best to keep everything as current as possible.

I do plan to continue to run this site myself throughout the course of my career and take all of you along with me on the rollercoaster of a ride that being an actor is. I hope my site will hold those added personal touches that other sites might lack as a result of being run by a company hired to maintain and update the site for them.

Thank you for your patience as this site gets a bit of a makeover, so to speak, and I want you to know how much I appreciate your continued support and all of your comments and e-mails about this site and my career. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and that you enjoy my site as well! :)

April 11, 2007
Happy Spring Everyone!!! Things have been going, going, going for me and I am enjoying the wonderful warm and sunny weather...really, I am, I love springtime and all the fun colors that come with it! :)

Aside from the play, I will be filming a trailer for "Revenge of The Mummy" back east this Fall for the 2008 filming of the feature film and will be sure to keep you posted with details as they happen. Till then, I am continuing to audition and go to callbacks and am really enjoying everything about my new agents and agency.

Changes are in the works and you will soon see a new look to my Website! Since I maintain this site myself, from the HTML programming to logo creations and artistic creativity, it all takes time around my schedule, but I hope you will like the renovations and refreshing new look!

Thank you again for your continued support through it all and I will be back with updates soon! Have a wonderful rest of the week and a fun weekend ahead! :)

March 6, 2007
Hey Everyone! I can't believe it is March already...where does the time go? The weather in LA has been beautiful and I must say I am looking forward to spring and breaking out those fun, lighter and brighter fashions! Plus, before we know it summer will be here...crazy I tell you! :)

As for the acting front, I am so excited to be heading back on stage again playing Nancy Pecket Prior in "The Sisters" based on Anton Chekhov's "Three Sisters." The show will have a 6 week run this summer and I will be sure to keep any of you who may be interested posted.

Till then, if you are in the NYC area, or are planning to be, on March 15th, I would love for you to check out and support my talented and very close friend's, Brian Feinstein's, show at the The Laurie Beechman Theatre on 42nd St. where he will present his newest music along with some special guest stars. Just click here for all the details!

Things are going well in LA and I am busy auditioning a lot, thanks to my new agents who are simply fabulous! :) We shall see what happens and no matter what I plan to make the most of each opportunity! I will be back with updates soon and hope you all have a fun and FABULOUS rest of the week!

February 4, 2007
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I shall be watching and rooting for the underdog as I do every year, although this year they are both about equal, however I shall root for Indianapolis since my sister is at grad school in Indiana and enjoy the commercials!

Things are rolling along on the acting front and I am excited to see what will be happening next. I recently signed with the Daniel Hoff Agency, Inc. and am working with the fabulous Nancy Abt and her oh so fun assistant, Annie. We are having a great time and hoping for a successful pilot season, but either way I look forward to any and all opportunities!

"Kreating Karloff" is nominated for a 2007 Rondo Award and you can go here to vote if you wish. We are nominated under Best Independent Production. There is also a 3 page article in this months issue #61 of Scary Monsters Magazine on "Kreating Karloff" with some pictures too if you are interested and can be bought at Barnes and Noble.

I hope you are all having a FABULOUS weekend and thank you again for all the e-mails, I do get each and every one and will get back to you as soon as I can. I really appreciate all the support and will continue to post updates! :)

January 24, 2007
Happy National Peanut Butter day!!! :) OK...so that was just for fun, but today really is national peanut butter day believe it or not! Hopefully, you are all having a very Happy New Year and that 2007 continues to be a fabulous year!

I am back in LA and gearing up for a fun pilot season with my new representation at the Daniel Hoff Agency, Inc. My new agent is the super fabulous Nancy Apt and I simply love their New York-esque offices on Wilshire Blvd. and their pleasant and positive energy! We shall see what happens, but either way I am looking forward to a productive year!

I will be making some changes to my website in the next few weeks, taking a few things away while adding others, but hopefully it will continue to be enjoyed by all who stop by! Thank you again for all of your continued support and the many positive e-mails I receive daily. I do love hearing from you and will continue to keep you all posted on everything happening in my career as best I can!

Till then, I hope that February brings even more fun adventures to everyone than January! :)

December 7, 2006
Happy Holidays Everyone!!!

This is my favorite time of year and I just love everything leading up to the actual Holiday itself and enjoying the lights, music, smells and yummy foods that come with it! This year my whole family and adorable nephews will be together on the east coast and I am looking forward to that more than anything! :)

I have been going back and forth between LA and NYC a lot these past few months and keeping busy and am gearing up to head back yet again very soon! There are some things in the works on the acting front and we shall see what happens with that, but till then I shall wait...because in this biz one never knows for sure! ;)

I hope you all have a fun Holiday season and enjoy the time with your family and friends! I will be back with some updates in the New Year and till then I have added pictures to the Candids Gallery, Friends Gallery and Family Gallery. I am off to continue planning for our 3 annual Holiday Par-tay just around the corner and then I shall be landing back in the best city in the world...NYC!!!

October 27, 2006
I can't believe that it is almost November and the last time I updated it October had just started...time sure does fly by! :) I hope you are all enjoying Fall so far and getting ready to collect some yummy candy and have a very Spooky and Happy Halloween!!!

I have been traveling a lot between the east and west coasts and am getting ready to head back east again and then yet again before the holidays, which will be here before we know it and my countdown has begun! ;) Things are going well and I am keeping busy with work and all the "Kreating Karloff" stuff and due to that many of you are gaining interest in or learning about Zita Johann, whom I portray in the film and I am so excited about that! Thank you to everyone for all the kind and supportive e-mails about Zita, they put a smile on my face!

Speaking of "Kreating Karloff," while I was back east Conor, who also stars in the film, and I where invited to talk to over 100 7th graders about the film and answer their questions for over an hour and a half and it simply flew by! After a yummy catered lunch at the school for us complete with a handmade Frankenstein cake by one of the teachers, Dawn, we headed into the auditorium before all the students were lined up and brought in class by class.

I was so impressed by the school, faculty, teachers of Team 6 and these amazing and diverse 12 and 13 year olds and would have talked with them everyday if it were an option! Aside from acting, I have always wanted to teach or at least be someone positive that people can look up to and find a way to give back, etc. and this was the perfect situation for me and I could not have been happier!

The students had worked so hard coming up with questions and the hands never stopped being raised for the entire time. The questions were very creative and in fact made me have to think a couple times since a few were questions I hadn't thought about, which was refreshing and kept me on my toes! To see students of this age and range of diversity be so interested in a film that you are a part of and are passionate about is truly what makes it all worthwhile!

Not only are they learning and getting excited about something that was shot in black and white aside from the many interviews, but they are truly interested in the entire process, in front of and behind the camera, as well as acting in general and appeared to really want to be there, paying attention the entire time! Many of the teachers stressed what an impact we had on them and to sit back and realize how much they look up to us and to be told by one student, Ashley, "I want to be just like you when I grow up," is what this is all about!

Walking through the halls and having students recognize me saying "Hey Liesl" and then going through the cafeteria at lunch time and having them all shouting and waving, you would think I was Julia Roberts, which I am far from, but to these amazing students we were someone worth giving their time and attention to and I was honored! They also wrote to different people involved in the project and so I left with a number of letters, which I am excited to get back to, as well as pictures they had drawn for me and it is the little things like that which mean and always have meant the most to me!

Thank you to Rick, The Principal, Team 6 Teachers, the many students and everyone at Sage Park for inviting us to be a part of these students schooling and for being so welcoming! It was truly my pleasure and I look forward to keeping in contact with all of you and hearing about all that you are up to in the future!

Till next time be sure to enjoy all the fun times ahead as we enter the Holiday season! :)

HAPPY FALL!!! It is officially October and that means Fall time for me and so my countdown to the Holidays has begun! :) This time of year is too exciting and I just love breaking out the stylish boots and winter sweaters and seeing the seasons change and the leaves start to fall...only problem is that I am in LA and not NYC, but have no fear I head back to NYC in a week and will catch a taste of it all!

Things are going well and instead of looking back on the past as much I am starting to live in the present and am taking each day as it comes because you never know what the future might bring! :) Right now I am getting ready to fly to NYC for my high school friend's wedding in the town where we went to school. I am really looking forward to seeing all of my close high school friends who will be there and plan to get some new pics of course! :)

Then, it is off to my good friend's, Brian Feinstein's, new off-Broadway Musical, Mimi le Duck, starring Eartha Kitt for the dress rehearsal that he has so kindly invited me to, so I can see all the action before the big press opening on Halloween! He is not only a fabulous friend to me, but an amazing talent and composed all of the music for the show and I am so excited to see where this show goes, but he has already had so much success and deserves every minute of it! So, if you get the chance and would like to support someone who is important to be, be sure to buy a ticket and check it out! :)

I have also been invited to talk to the many students at Sage Park Middle School in CT about "Kreating Karloff" with fellow actor, Conor Timmis, who also stars in and is the person behind the film project that will hopefully convince Universal to make a Boris Karloff Biopic! I am really looking forward to meeting all the students, getting to answer their questions, talking about this project and telling them about what a wonderful experience the entire process was! :)

So, there is a lot on my plate at the moment and "Kreating Karloff" continues to make it's way to many festivals and is getting lots of favorable reviews including one in the October 2006 issue of The Thunder Child. I will be sure to keep you posted on everything and bring you any updates, bu till then, you can check out some new pics added to my Friend's Gallery!

Till next time, I hope you all have a Fabulous Fall and are getting ready for some Happy Holidays ahead...I know I am! :) Oh yes and how can I forget...LET'S GO YANKEES in the ALDS Series!!! :) :) :)

I have been busy filming "The Heart of David" and having an absolute BLAST! I can honestly say that this is one of the most fun cast and crews I think I have ever worked with and I have not laughed so hard in a long time! It was to the point of getting the giggles and doing everything in our power not to laugh during a take, but I must say I lost it a couple times...whoops! :)

I want to say thank you to everyone and specifically Logan, Chason, Bill, Jason, Chad, Stephanie, Amanda, Kim, Charmaine, Lacee and of course the director, Justin! It truly has been a pleasure working with each and every one of you and I cannot thank you enough for all the laughs and many "fabulous" memories, you are all truly wonderful, down to earth, talented, fun and people who I truly hope go far in your careers...you all deserve it and I would not be happier! "It's goood, it's goood!" ;) ;)

So, till the wrap party, which I am looking forward to, know that I can't wait to work with you again very soon and I consider you each a good friend and hope to be in touch soon! You all made me happier than you might know and every moment was a highlight for me! Thank you, thank you, thank you for reminding me why I do this and I hope you keep breaking legs...plus you will need them for your Leprechaun Jigs! LOL! :)

Aside from that, "Kreating Karloff" is making it's rounds and getting some very favorable reviews! I will keep you posted on everything and till then, I will be thinking about everyone, tomorrow, on the 5th Anniversary of September 11th. I was living in NYC on that day and just like everyone else, it is a day etched in my mind forever! Although it is always a bit difficult on that day, I want everyone to know how much they mean to me as well and how much all of your e-mails, fun comments and of course support means, it is truly appreciated!

Things have been a bit of a whirlwind and I have been here there and everywhere, but all is going very well! As you can see it was time for a new look and since I just got new headshots taken by the one and only, Bradford Rogne, I thought I should updated not only my Headshots section, but the overall look as well.

"Kreating Karloff" has started to hit the film festivals and screening on both costs and getting good reviews thus far, which is great! The page one editor of the USA Today, David Colton, wrote a recent review, which you can read here I will do my best to keep you posted on everything with the film and all the articles and reviews, so just keep checking out the Articles section for more!

The audition scene has been picking up and the acting scene is looking up! I have been lucky to be seen for some great auditions for many great projects and I love every opportunity I get to not only act, but meet people as well! I am getting ready to shoot a short film, "The Heart of David, where I play Carly who is English, so it gives me a chance to use my British accent and do something a little different, which is always fun for me!

I also added a few pictures to the Liesl Gallery under Candids and to the Friends Gallery. I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend and that you like the new look to the site as well! Also, a special Happy Birthday wish to my fabulous sister Devon!!! Thanks so much for the continued support and I will check back as soon as I can! :)

It is about time for an update and so here I am! :) Things have been really busy on my end and the summer has been flying by, but all is well! Seems to be wedding time as well, 12 weddings this year alone and although I could not make all of them I am doing my best to make as many as possible.

On the acting front, the "Kreatig Karloff" documentary should start hitting all the film festivals later this year and start screening in October while the DVD will be released in late 2007 and I will be sure to keep you posted on the details! Till then you can check out a recent interview/article on the project here.

My sister has been spending her summer with me out in LA, so there have been plenty of fun times in between the many weddings, auditions and work. Another Birthday is sneaking up on me so very soon I will be another year older and I am looking forward to what this new age has in store for me! :)

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend ahead and I will check back soon with updates! Thanks again for the continued support, messages and very kind e-mails, I appreciate all of it! :)

Seems like the weeks are just flying by since things have been so busy on my end, but all is going well and I am truly enjoying spending time with family and friends and just the sunny warm weather of summer! :)

I have added pictures to the Liesl Gallery under Candids, the Friends Gallery and to the Family Gallery. I am in the process of uploading all the pictures and stills from the "Kreating Karloff" shoot and promise to have those up very soon!

A great article was written in Red Hot Planet on the filming of "Kreating Karloff" by Steve Vertlieb, which you can view online here. I am so lucky to be talked about in the article and thankful for the kind things that were said. It truly captures the fun and exciting filming process and experience so well.

I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful weekend and that you have a fun week ahead! I will be back and forth between LA and NYC over the next few months, but will try to keep you as updated as possible! Thanks again for all the support and encouraging e-mail and interest in "Kreating Karloff!" :)

First off, I am so sorry for the delay in updates recently, I have been keeping really busy and bouncing between LA and NYC with family and friend visits in between.

We have since wrapped "Kreating Karloff" and I have to say that it was by far one of the most enjoyable and fun filled experiences I have been lucky enough to have thus far! I had an absolute blast during the filming and became so close with the entire cast and crew on the film project and the documentary so quickly, I just wish the process could have lasted longer!

I have to say Thank You to everyone involved and let everyone know that I would do everything again in a heartbeat! Aside from getting Laryngitis and loosing my voice completely by the last day of shooting, all went so smoothly and I have made some new wonderful friends and gotten to work with some pros in the biz! Plus, the show must go on, as they say, and nothing will hold me back! :)

Special shout outs to Conor, Norm, Vatche, Marcos, Gregg, John, Danielle, Steve, Rick, Justin, Geanni and Scott...you all know who you are, but I want you to know how much I enjoyed meeting you and how much you all mean to me...truly FABULOUS!!! :)

I am looking forward to the outcome of everything and seeing the reaction of Sara Karloff, Boris Karloff's daughter, and Universal when they view it in the coming months and to see the full length documentary that followed the filming processed when it is released. I will of course keep you posted on all the "Kreating Karloff" news, articles, pics, etc.

I hope you are all having a fabulous June so far and that it only gets better! I am busy with auditions and all that is happening with "Kreating Karloff" and the promotions to come. Check back for updates and I will try not to make the next one so far down the road! :)

May 16, 2006
I have arrived in NYC and start shooting my scenes in "Kreating Karloff" this week! :)

I am looking forward to meeting the cast and crew and getting the opportunity to work with some amazing talents! It is going to be so much fun seeing myself in wardrobe and make-up to match that of Zita's in her role as Helen Grosvenor in "The Mummy," and to see how it all comes together on the set that was built to match the set from the original 1932 film.

I will be sure to give you an update after the shoot and will be adding a new section, "Kreating Karloff," to my Website very soon that will include pictures. Thank you again for all of your support and stay tuned...

Oh and on a side note...I must say GO YANKEES on their 14-13 win today via Posada's bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs 2 run home run! Woo Hoo!!! :)

May 6, 2006
I cannot believe that it is already May, it seems that time is flying by, but I hope all is going well for everyone!

I felt that it was time for a fresh new look to the site, nothing major, but hopefully like the updated look. With the new look, I added new pictures to the Headshots section, in the Liesl Gallery under the Photo Shoot section and in the Friends Gallery.

I am flying to NYC for the film shoot in about a week and will get to see my friends and family while I am back east, which is a plus for me! :) I am looking forward to meeting everyone working on "Kreating Karloff" and am excited to play Zita Johann in her famous role of Helen Grosvenor in "The Mummy" scenes.

I will be sure to post updates after the shoot and plenty of pictures as well, so stay tuned! :) Thank you so much for the many recent e-mails and autograph requests, which I will get out ASAP! I appreciate the continued support and am so lucky to have such amazing people following and backing my career as I make my way in the acting world! :)

WOW! Things are getting busier by the second and I could not be happier about all the opportunities ahead of me and am looking forward to each and every one! :)

I just had a fun audition for the new FOX pilot, "She Said/He Said," starring Nick Lachey and Lindsay Sloane for the role of Alice and bumped into a good friend while on the FOX lot, which made the audition even more worthwhile!

Next up for me is a film project, "Kreating Karloff," in May that is going to Universal. I get to play a relative of mine, Zita Johann, who was a 1920's, 30's and 40's Film and Broadway actor. I will be playing Zita in her most famous role as Helen Grosvenor, the Princess Anckesen-Amon in the 1932 Feature Film, "The Mummy," which also starred Borris Karloff, hence the project's title.

"News is spreading across the industry about the ambitious collaboration between Conor Timmis, Tripeg Studios and Karloff Enterprises." Tripeg Studios sent out the official Press Release to over 1000 media outlets. Including Inside Edition, Entertainment Tonight, The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter,
