I was born on August 17th in Norwalk, CT and am the middle child of three girls. Shortly after I was born my family moved to London, England where I attended preschool with one of my favorite teachers Ms. Uden whom I am still in contact with today!

Later we made another big move to the Middle East to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, where I attended ACS, the American Community School, and met people from all over the world. We were required to take Arabic in school, but unfortunately I only know a bit today.

My childhood consisted of sliding down sand dunes, watching Sesame Street in Arabic and getting out of school when it rained instead of for snow like most schools. My time in Abu Dhabi encompassed some of the most memorable years of my life; I absolutely loved it there and am so happy that I was able to have such an incredible experience!

After three years in Abu Dhabi, my family moved back to the United States to NJ where I went to elementary, middle and high school. My first acting experience was in "The Wizard of Oz" in 8th grade and at that point I was hooked! Although I had always been in the choirs and singing, I had not yet acted aside from "acting" in my daily life and being silly whenever the opportunity presented itself. ;) In High School I joined the Drama Club, becoming treasurer my senior year and participated in all of the musicals, spring plays and one acts till I graduated.

During my weekends, I began taking acting and musical theatre classes for in NYC at HB Studio started by Herbert Burgdoff and Uta Hagan. The summer of my junior year I enrolled at North Carolina School of the Arts for a summer course in Filmmaking and it was at that time that I knew TV and Film would be a part of my future!

After graduating high school, I went to college at the University of North Caroline at Greensboro in the Theatre Dept. and after your 1st year, you audition for the BFA in Acting program, which is a more concentrated acting program and 10 students are accepted each year. I was one of the lucky ones chosen of the 4 girls and 6 guys selected that year. Over the course of the next 3 years I learned worlds about acting and performed in a number of college productions and spent most of it in children's theatre, which I love!

While in college I was lucky to get some TV work since there was a TV and Film studio in Wilmington, NC where they filmed the popular WB show "Dawson's Creek." My first TV experience was in a CBS TV-Movie starring John Ritter, Meredith Baxter, and JoAnna Grcia called "Holy Joe" where I played Cylla followed by a featured role in the WB's "Dawson's Creek" and commercials for FORD Focus and Mountain Dew before I graduated with my BFA in Acting degree.

After graduation I moved to NYC on September 1, 2001 where I lived in midtown Manhattan on 55th and 10th Ave., better known as Hell's Kitchen and I loved it! Shortly after my move, September 11th 2001 happened and I was right there in NYC for an experience that I along with the world will never forget! I vividly remember the events as they unfolded and still remember exactly how NYC looked, felt and sounded, but I took away a positive out look on New Yorkers and just how the world can come together as one in a time of need!

While in NYC I was featured in TV shows and worked on the CBS soap opera "Guiding Light" with Emmy Award Wining actor Ricky Paull Goldin during 2002-2003 as well as the feature film "Mona Lisa Smile" where I got to watch wonderful actors like Julia Roberts work up close and personal and that was an amazing learning experience if nothing else! After two years in NYC, it was time for me to make the big move out to the west coast to pursue my acting career and get more involved in TV and Film. My dad and I drove out to LA, while my mother kept everything at home under control and 4 days later I was there with all of the things I just had to have from NYC.

My uncle was kind enough to put up with me for a few months while I found a place of my own and sure enough I found a place I just love in Burbank. It has been an amazing time so far and I know that my decision to move across the US was for the best even though I am a NYC girl at heart and am so far from my closest friends and my family. I have made some many wonderful friends since moving to LA and continue to have consistent support from my family and friends back home!

Since living in LA I switched agencies a couple times, since it is all about finding the one that works best for you, and I am now represented by the Daniel Hoff Agency, Inc. with Nancy Abt as my agent and am so happy to be a part of their team! My first big booking in LA was the role of Leslie on the NBC show "American Dreams," which I had a blast filming, unfortunately the show ended up being canceled, but it was great while it lasted and I gained a new friend in actor Jamie Elman.

I went on to film an episode of the award winning show "Monk" on USA in a cute scene with the lead actor Tony Shalhoub, who is so professional and humble! Next, I Guest Starred as Lindsay on the UPN sitcom "Eve," with an amazing cast and crew along. There is nothing like filming in front of a live studio audience...you get the best of both worlds where TV meets Theatre and I loved it!!!

I then worked on a few independent films including, "Kreating Karloff," which is a bio-pic currently screening Internationally and even picked up a few awards and is currently available on DVD and through Amazon.com, and played a strong British business woman in "Heart of David" with a super fun cast, so there was no shortage of laughs and I had a blast!

"Kreating Karloff," was special for me because of a personal connection I have to it. I starred as Zita Johann as Helen Grosvenor in recreation scenes of the 1932 version of "The Mummy." I am related to Zita Johann who starred opposite Boris Karloff in the original and it was an honor to get to play her and recreate her most famed roll, especially since so many who knew her, personally and through her work, say we look alike and share the same eyes!

I was then lucky to land a supporting role in a Feature Film comedy starring Gary Cole and Jennifer Coolidge called "Say Hello To Stan Talmadge where I had fun with everyone, especially getting to see and work with Jordan Bridges again, whom I had first met and worked with on "Mona Lisa Smile" while I was living in NYC!

I continued to audition as much as possible through the WGA (Writer's Guild of America) and SAG (Screen Actors Guild) strikes and negotiations when times were slower in the industry since I really believe that persistence is key and you have to try to stay as positive as possible through the ups and downs.

I then booked a recurring role as the Phyllis Newman's assistant at 'Restless Style Magazine' on the CBS soap opera, "The Young and the Restless." This was exciting because "Y&R" was my best friend and my favorite soap opera growing up after we saw Michael Damian star on Broadway in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." It was then that I fell "in love" with him, we saw in the Playbill that he played Danny Romalotti on the show, and started watching and recording every episode!

I even wrote letters back and forth with Sharon Case who plays Sharon Collins Newman on the show who was kind enough to offer guidance to me as an actor starting out and get my BFA degree in Acting! Needless to say, it is surreal to simply be on set with everyone, let alone on the show!

I continue to attend auditions and callbacks, meet with producers, am putting together an updated acting reel of my work, and we will see what, if anything, transpires from them, but like I always say, I look at all of them as opportunities to act even if only for a minute!

I am so lucky to have a family that supports me 110 percent and has never discouraged me or doubted my abilities or career choice. I feel privileged and fortunate to have had the ability to obtain all that I already have and I am looking forward to all the future has to offer and staring my own children's charity foundation!
